Mission Statement
Our purpose is to meet persons in the midst of personal crisis, to be a supportive and helpful presence with them, and to assist in securing resources which will bring them into a position of stabliity in their lives. We attempt to be holistic in our responses, as we are able, by addressing the physical, social, psychological and spritual needs of those who may be without the skills or resources to meet them independently at the moment
Our Motivation
TheCrisis Center is a combined outreach of the Presbyterianm churches of the greater San Diego area. We are motivated by the care, compassion and grace of God for all people that we have come to know through Jesus Christ. This program also seeks to answer Christ's call to do Justice in the world, especially those who are poor or find themselves outside the mainstream of society. Our services are provided to all who come, without regard to their convictions of faith, and without imposing our convictions upon them.
Funding
Almost all of the support for the Crisis Center's program comes from generous financial and in-kind gifts from churches, groups and individuals in the San Diego area. Gifts may be sent made out to "Presbyterian Crisis Center".
