Welcome to the Presbytery of San Diego
Welcome to the website of the Presbytery of San Diego. Our presbytery is comprised of almost 16,000
members in 33 churches. We sponsor, or are connected with, two racial ethnic fellowships, a new church
plant, an affiliated congregation, a military outreach ministry, ministries in Mexico, and an urban ministry,
with new missional experiments that continue to spring up. Each weekend, we worship in six different
languages: Spanish, Korean, Chinese, Sudanese, Arabic, and English. We are a presbytery that is
enthusiastic about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We seek to be effective witnesses for Him, constantly
learning new ways we can join in His ministry which is going on in our communities. We desire to see
people come know Christ in a personal way, and be a part of an equipping faith community, where we are
sent into the world to help extend His kingdom here on earth. We are a presbytery in transition. We are a
pilgrim people who want to listen to God’s Spirit, listen to our communities, and move back into our
